- DISCLAIMER
- 1. Computer Works will only perform and provide computer services, repairs, and upgrades as requested by the Client. Computer Works will conduct honest, reasonable, and considerate services. The goal is to provide the highest quality of service and support, but specific results cannot be guaranteed.
- 2. Computer service/repairs are provided as a service. There may be circumstances under which Client’s computer cannot be repaired. It will have to be rebuilt or upgraded. (Examples: Age of PC, repair/replacement parts obsolete (memory chips, motherboards, etc.).
- 3. The length of time required to service/repair your computer cannot be predicted.
- 4. Client understands that in the process of working on your computer equipment, there is a potential for data loss. You agree that you have made the necessary backups of your data so that, in the event of such loss, the data can be restored. Computer Works will not be responsible for data loss.
- 5. Client authorizes the technician(s) providing the service or repair to install anti-virus and any other necessary software on your computer to perform required services. All software will be deleted / uninstalled upon completion of the service (unless purchased).
- 6. All remote repair services are subject to the terms in this agreement.
- 7. Branding and Tracking Stickers may be placed on Customer Equipment to help us identify customer machines.
- NON-PAYMENT / NO CONTACT
- 1. Computer Works Family reserves the right to take possession of any equipment that has not been paid for.
- 2. After 7 – days, Computer Works Family will take possession of any hardware that has not been paid for, including customer equipment that had labor performed on.
- 3. After 7 – days of No Contact, the customer surrenders their machine and any equipment to Computer Works Family whether it has been paid for your not.
- 4. Late fees may be assessed for any past due invoices.
- 10% for invoices 7 – days old (Accrues every 7 days)
- 25% for invoices older than 21 – days (Accrues every 7 days)
- Collections: Invoices that are 30 – days past due may be turned into collections
- REPAIRS & SERVICE GUARANTEE
- 1. All services and repairs are guaranteed for seven (7) days from the completion / acceptance date on the Service Order.
- 2. If later found that the service or repair was incorrectly diagnosed by the technician. Then Computer Works will perform the repair/service free of any labor charge. Only the new parts will be charged.
- LIABILITY
- 1. Service(s) are provided in an effort to fix, upgrade, or otherwise repair the computer system(s) for which client or authorized representative requested such service(s).
- 2. In the case of accidental damage of data to your system or data loss caused by already existing problems in your system such as viruses, bad configured software, or hardware problems/failures, Client agrees to hold Computer Works and any person(s) associated with Computer Works or involved in the work being done for Client harmless from damages resulting from such problems.
- 3. It Client’s responsibility to backup data unless listed on Service Order. Computer Works will not be responsible for data loss.
- Marketing and Personal Information
- 1. Any information gathered during the check-in process is used exclusively for the purpose of contact and marketing.
- 2. At no point will Computer Works Family or any subsidiaries sell any personal information obtained.
- 3. Computer Works Family will never text or solicit services via text message.
- 4. Computer Works Family and it’s subsidiaries may, on occasion, send out marketing emails with new products and services. You may unsubscribe from these messages at any time using the links at the bottom of the email or emailing: contact@computerworksfamily.com.
- AUTHORIZATION
- 1. By signing this form, you are agreeing to the terms above and agree to let a Computer Works Technician to perform the desired work on the affected machine.
- 2. By dropping off / leaving machine with a Computer Works Technician, you are agreeing to the terms above and agree to let a Computer Works Technician to perform the desired work on the affected machine.
